Topp and Legg is a modular furniture solution that adapts to the rapid changes in our lives. The brand wants to reshape furniture, by making it more personal and interactive. A concept where customers have the freedom and ability to personalise their table, and also offers the possibility to change and modulate it later on.
A playful name
In order to name the new modular concept, we were looking for a modern and playful sound. As the brand literally combines different “tops” and “legs”, we reworked these words with a twist. By using double end letters, we added more personality to the brand name: Topp and Legg was born.
A sustainable message
At Topp and Legg, simplicity, modularity and sustainability are at the core of everything we do. We focus on simplifying and making things easy. From buying a table, to changing it to your new lifestyle. The entire brand concept and messaging originate from a sustainable point of view.
Fresh, minimal and premium
Topp and Legg’s identity radiates simplicity using sleek and subtle typography in fresh grey tones. Assets that need to stand out, use a bright yellow which provides a fresh and distinctive balance. This visual system is extended through the entire brand experience. The logo represents modularity, using the same graphical elements to form the letters T and L.
The brand imagery of Topp and Legg showcases craftsmanship and a broad variety of different table combinations. By showing atypical combinations and styles, we want to make a statement that creativity and personal taste are the leading principles behind our brand. The brand’s neutral colour palette ensures harmony and uniformity, while putting the products in the spotlight.
The print experience was thoughtfully designed to reflect the minimalistic and premium identity. Subtle blind embossing is seamlessly blended with bright yellow details in printed materials.
